Fresh Produce
Buying direct from the Boston produce market, unlike the large grocery store chains, gives us the opportunity to provide our customers with the freshest produce available.
Many individuals don’t realize that grocery store chains typically have a large warehouse or hub where they store their produce and ship from this one location to many of their surrounding stores. Therefore, their produce has a lag time any where between a week to 14 days before it see’s the inside of the actual store. You can only imagine how fresh the produce can be.
Here at On the Vine, we take pride in providing the freshest produce around. Co-owner, Abel Schultze drives to the Boston produce market and hand picks every item. Nothing is purchased without his approval. He also makes sure we have a large selection of organic options and native produce when in season. Our product selection also includes a wide selection of fresh herbs and rare specialty items. If we don’t have what you’re looking for please, don’t hesitate to ask us to get it for you. Seafood
Come visit our seafood department and see why customers come back for more. Our selection of fish and shellfish are chosen very carefully to ensure quality and freshness. If you’re looking for something different, look no further. We’ve worked very hard in creating a wonderful assortment of marinated fish and shrimp options to satisfy even the pickiest pallet. 
Also for the choosing is our signature stuffed salmon or sole filets. These entrée’s take the guess work out of making an easy and delicious meal. Don’t forget to also try our lobster roll, chowders, stuffed seafood mushrooms, crabcakes or lobster pie, all made from scratch! When visiting be sure you and the kids say hi to our very own fishmonger, Dave. He would love to show all of you our live lobsters. Home to some of the largest lobsters around.
